Dan Harding Takes All Four in
 
National 'Grand Slam'

On Sunday 7/11/15 Dan Harding won the  Under 12s Irish Junior Open. With this win he is now the current holder of the British, Welsh, Scottish and Irish Opens.  After winning the Welsh and British Dan said his aim was to win the Scottish. He achieved this back in September. With three titles under his belt he then focused on Ireland. Dan was unstoppable as he went in to the last two games of the round robin leading by over 200 pins. he  Bowled a 177.5 average over the weekend to take the gold Medal in Stillorgan.
 
Dan would like to thank all those that have helped him over the past three years Including his current coach Steve Thornton without whom none of this would have been be possible.  Thornton said  "Dan's achievement's this year  are a reflection of all the practice he has put in on the lanes and his continued understanding of the equipment he uses.  Dan shows amazing potential and this is just the start of many more Tournament wins in the future".

Congratulations to Charlie, Mille, Dan and Nikkita for taking part in the 20th JIC Sinjoor International Youth Tournament, held in Wommelgem, Belgium as part of the 2015 Youth European Trophy.  All four English bowlers came home with medals.  Charlie won gold (U10 boys), Millie also won Gold (U12 girls),  Nikkita bronze (U12 girls) and Dan silver (U12) boys.

Congratulations to Austin Taylor, U16 Triple Crown Masters Champion for 2015 on bowling a perfect 300-game during the Meg Jordache Scratch Trios, at Go Bowling Dunstable on Monday November 9th.  Austin, 14, was bowling his Storm Reign of Power as he also set a new Personal Best series of 797.

The 2015 Junior Irish Open took place at Leisureplex Stillorgan, Ireland, on the weekend of the 6th-8th November 2015.  Congratulations to U19 Girls triple-champion Katie Tagg, having won her third consecutive Junior Irish Open tiltle this weekend past, to Dan Harding, U12 Boys Champion and Jack Blyth who took U12 Boys bronze.
 
Other English youth bowlers that made the trip to Ireland included Michael Dudley who made it through to U24 Rd. 2, Amy Sedgwick and Amy Teal who made it through to U19 Rd. 2, Robbie Bowden and Alex Power who made U16 Rd. 2 and Rd. 1 respectively, Cara Pleasance who reached U16 Rd. 2 and Nikkita Truslove who made it through to U12 Rd. 1. Well done to you all.
 

Stroud Eliminator Singles 2015
 
The Eliminator Singles takes place over the weekends 7th, 8th and 14th, 15th November at Stroud Bowl, Gloucestershire.  Squadding lists for the event have been published in the PDF file below.  The NAYBC wish all bowlers the very best of luck.
 
 


YTE Yorkshire Doubles 2015

The 2015 Youth Team England Yorkshire Doubles were held at Barnsley Bowl, England, on the weekend of the 31st OCtober and 1st November 2015.  After 8 games in qualifying, bowling on WTBA Tokyo, the finals were bowled on dual-condition WTBA Mexico City and WTBA Stockholm.

After 8 games in qualifying, and two finals steps, the step ladder finals would see James and Brandon defeat Curtis and Mia 455-363, who would then be defeated by Emily and Keira 456-386.
